Day 1

Arrive in Delhi – Private Day Tour

Welcome to India!

8:00 AM
- On the day of your arrival, our representative will greet you at your hotel and introduce you to your full day tour of Delhi.

- We begin our tour in the morning with a visit to Bangla Sahib Gurdwara, one of the most prominent gurdwara, or Sikh houses of worship, in Delhi.

- Next, we tour the Gandhi Smriti, formerly known as the Old Birla House, situated on Tee January Marg. The Gandhi Smriti is a dedicated museum to Mahatma Gandhi. Mahatma Gandhi had lived and spent 144 days of his life in this place until he was assassinated on January 30, 1948. Thus, this hallowed house treasures his many memories and legacy.

11:00 AM
- After our visit at the Gandhi Smriti, we explore the Bahai Temple in New Delhi. The Bahai Temple is famous for its modern architecture and unique beauty.

- Our tour concludes with a rickshaw tour through Old Delhi in the evening. You will experience and learn the history and traditions of the place and its people. Our major highlights include a visit to the Jama Masjid, Fatehpuri Masjid, Chandni Chowk market (literally meaning the moonlit square), Darba Kalan (a 17th century jewel street), Kinari bazaar (a market, especially for wedding & traditional outfits), Kari Baoli (Asia’s largest spice market), as well as the narrow alleys of Ballimaran (well-known for the renowned poet Mirza Galib’s house).

- Following the tour, we will drop you at your address/hotel in Delhi.
